On Friday 15th November 2019 DAA medical team along with Afghan Ministry of Public Health (MoPH/NCDs) and a private hospital (Afshar Hospital) together arranged a diabetic Blood Glucose Screening camp inside a famous mosque of Kabul city named Abdul Rahman Mosque.

This event was different to other programs we had arranged so far, as in this event we used to check people’s BMI, Waist Size, Blood Pressure, RBS/FBS screening and finally advice to all the participants. In our teams we had doctors, nurses, lab technicians and some other members for arrangements and management of the program. Totally 183 people were screened, among which there was one new case of diabetes 11 already diagnosed diabetic patients and 5 pre-diabetics. Some informative banners were hanged around the mosque’s yard and some also some brochures were distributed to participants.
