DAA and DMC jointly arranged a diabetes education and blood glucose (FBG/RBG) screening camp in The HALO Trust International Organization main office Kabul. This program was held in their main office Kotal Khair Khana area Kabul Afghanistan jointly by DAA /DMC teams for about three hours. Total number of participants in the education program were 50 and 134 were screened (FBS / RBS checked). Among the screened people there were 5 diabetic patients, 3 of them were already taking anti diabetic medicine and 2 of them were suddenly diagnosed. And also there were 2 suspected diabetic patients, who were advised to do further examinations. Diabetic informative brochures and diabetic diet list were distributed to all the participants.
