DAA arranged a diabetic education and FBG/RBG screening camp program in Afghan Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MoRRD) on 11-Feb-2013. This diabetes education program was for providing information about diabetes, its complications, prevention and other needed information for non-medical people level. After education the screening camp program was started. Total number of participants were 150 and 149 of them were screened. Among them there were 13 diabetic patients. Seven of them were already taking anti diabetic medicine and six people were un-diagnosed diabetic patients who did not know about their disease. Diabetic informative brochures and diabetic diet list were distributed to all the participants.
